My Gryphon, Or gryphoness as i like to call her. (or griffin / griffiness if you like the other spelling XD)

Based upon an old story i was first told about gryphons, and how they cam into existance.

In africa, the eagle envyed the way the lion could run through the undergrowth and how he could pounce and bound along the earth. The Lion envyed the eagle and the way she could dart through the air with great speed and beauty. They talked to each other one day, asking of how each could do taht, but they came to no solution. So they decided to visit a witch doctor, who lived on the mountain to see if he could help them.
They spoke of their problems, and the doctor cast a spell combining them as one, so they could run and bound with the lion's pure power and pride, and take to the sky with the eagle's utter speed and grace.

i might write my own version of the story, since most of that is from memory anyway. XD

My Gryphoness has kept the african look, with the spots and the jewlery, her necklace really sets her off. and to be honest, i had to really straighten the anatmony, because to be honest, if i was doing it staright form the book, with the front of a bird and back of a lion, her front legs would be a birds back legs. O.o

Her Name is Kumani, which means destiny in african, i think it suits as her destiny made her what she is now.
SHe is Extremely Proud, Indepdent, athletic, rough and (once she gets over her self) a good friend. im going to put her into a anthro style as well.
